The Babymakers 1st Blog!
Well, Hello to everyone out there!
I'm reliably informed by those that know about these things, that I should be “Blogging” and letting everyone know about what I do on a daily basis which is helping Ladies that are struggling to conceive achieving their dream of becoming a Mum.
I trained as a Beauty Therapist at Henlow Grange Health Farm in Bedfordshire in the 70’s and soon became involved in Complementary Therapies, which have been my all consuming passion ever since.
I now spend a lot of my time helping Couples to become parents by using a variety of Complementary Therapies and Dietary Advice, which to now has resulted in well over 100 pregnancies.
A lot of my clients are naturally a little shy of telling you their stories themselves but have given me the go ahead to pass them on to you via this blog.
Some of you may have seen a BBC programme I featured in last Easter called “Complementary Therapies: the Evidence” and I also speak regularly on the Radio and have featured in many different National Newspapers and Magazines.
Amazing things happen on a daily basis and it would be nice to share these experiences with you and I would really appreciate your feedback. However, I don’t want to go on too long and lose you to boredom, so let me know how I can help and I will do my best.
Currently, congratulations to Fiona who has given birth in the last couple of weeks. Fiona came to see me after being told by her doctor that her B.M.I. (Body Mass Index) was far too high and that this reduced her chance of getting pregnant quite considerably. Well with a lot of hard work on her part with diet and exercise and a lot of Reflexology to help balance her hormones, we managed to achieve the pregnancy way before she reached her goal weight proving just how a good diet and some well planned exercise, coupled with a good treatment programme pays dividends.
Congratulations also to Suzanne, who phoned me this week to tell me she is pregnant. It's early days yet, so I hope all goes well.
I often hear of the good news at a very early stage. In one instance, I had a phone call from a client saying “Sue, I have got a blue line. That DOES mean that I am pregnant doesn’t it?” I replied “Well yes it does sound like you are.” "Oh well then, I had better telephone my husband and let him know then!" she replied.
Well that’s it for the first Blog. I shall sign off now.
It may be a couple of weeks before I am back on line, as I am off on a trip that I promised myself I really must take, to see the Canadian Rockies and Alaska. Apparently at the time of writing it is snowing and -5 degrees. My husband thinks I'm mad. He can’t understand why I would want two more weeks of winter weather when the Spring is just starting here!
Oh well it takes all sorts as they say!!
Who knows what wonders will unfold?
Bye for Now.
